The year long celebration will give rise to a range of events including exhibitions, seminars, fairs and social media campaigns to educate everyone, everywhere about the enormous beneficial contributions it makes in areas such as sustainability, health and culture. Glass is a safe packaging material, made from 100% sustainable and natural materials and is perfect for a circular economy. Because of its inherent inertness and protective properties, glass creates a protective barrier to external agents, meaning products are preserved for longer in glass.
