Swedish steel manufacturer SSAB will supply its fossil-free steel, SSAB Zero™, to US energy firm GE Vernova Onshore Wind Towers for North American wind towers. The steel, made from pre-used steel at an Iowa facility, has no emissions from melting to casting, supporting recycling efforts. This supply will aide GE Vernova's ambitions of reaching net zero carbon emission targets.
