The annual list highlights 50 fast-growing private companies in a range of industries that are transforming the world through innovation. Over the past year, Lineage has announced several industry-leading initiatives and commitments in energy efficiency. The company signed The Climate Pledge in November and committed to be net-zero carbon across business operations by 2040 – ten years ahead of the Paris Agreement. In line with this commitment, Lineage also announced the installation of groundbreaking clean energy advancements at its facility in Colton, CA to establish the first facility in its network to generate 100% of its energy consumption on-site. Overall, the Company has reduced its energy intensity by 33% since 2015.
The company has also invested in fully automated greenfield and expansion projects within its own global network and for its customers, including fully automated facilities in Virginia, Kansas and Colorado. Lineage has a growing network of over 22 fully automated facilities worldwide.
