In a further testament to CEVA’s good policies and initiatives in all CSR fields, we are delighted to announce that we were awarded a Silver Medal by EcoVadis. EcoVadis is the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business to business sustainability ratings, creating a global network of more than 90,000+ rated companies. Founded in 2007 in Paris, it envisions a global marketplace where sustainability intelligence influences every business decision – improving economies, people’s lives and the planet we all depend on. EcoVadis rates businesses on their sustainability performance, based on four sustainability themes: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. It rates performance by assessing a company’s policies, actions and results, and inputs from third-party professionals and external stakeholders and scored between 1 and 100 for each of the four themes. The Silver Medal award recognizes CEVA’s policies and initiatives in all CSR fields, notably on the environment criteria. Under the leadership of the CMA CGM Group, its parent company, CEVA Logistics is strongly committed to the protection of the environment. The CMA CGM Group has committed to become Net zero carbon by 2050. As part of its efforts towards decarbonization, CEVA currently offers customers alternative fuel options including biofuel, LNG and biomethane in ocean cargo, sustainable aviation fuels for air cargo, and biofuels or even electric vehicles for ground transport.
