California's Central Valley Builders Supply acquires Grass Valley-based Caseywood; deal to expand Central Valley's northern California footprint, a robust human resource team and potential for other efficiencies such as trucking, safety, sales, training

Central Valley Builders Supply, a leading, diversified, Top 100 building supply company since 1955 would like to announce the acquisition of Caseywood Corporation, a well known and respected building supply company based in Grass Valley, CA. It is a merger of two multi generational, family run businesses.

Founded in 1985 in Grass Valley, California, Caseywood has been a leading supplier of building materials to professional contractors in the greater Tahoe Truckee markets as well as the Sierra Nevada foothill market. Initially founded by John T. Casey, for over 30 years the business has been run by John’s two sons Kevin and Mark Casey as well as John’s son-in-law Brent Fraser. Caseywood has established itself as an integral player in their markets as they continue to experience significant growth.

The family explains, “Caseywood represents the legacy and vision of our father and father-in-law, John T. Casey. This legacy is sacred to the three of us and, as such, we chose Central Valley as the perfect strategic buyer that allows this legacy to continue for years to come all under the Caseywood brand.”
