Bosch Home Applications release new range of freestanding gas and electric cookers in UAE; features include rotary spit for even grilling, telescopic rail with stop function, flame failure safety feature

July 29, 2013 (Global Data Point) – Bosch Home Appliances has released a new premium range of freestanding gas and electric cookers for families to enjoy homemade Iftars and meals big enough for the whole extended family this Ramadan.

"Ramadan is traditionally the peak season for consumers to purchase a new oven and this new range of cookers brings the reliable and enduring technology Bosch is famous for to the UAE in time for families to enjoy during their celebrations," says Bosch Home Appliances Middle East Marketing Director Georg Kazantzidis.

"Our customers in the UAE, especially around this time of the year, are drawn to the versatility and convenience that comes with cooking lots of food simultaneously. With this new range of cookers, people can prepare a full Iftar or five-course meal all at once, feed a large party, or easily satisfy multiple tastes and diet requirements in one sitting."

The multifunctional EXCLUSIV and PREMIUM product lines come with a whole range of features including a rotary spit for even grilling on all sides to ensure meat that is nice and crisp all over. There is a telescopic rail with stop function, which ensures easy to use, stable rails that make it easier than ever to check the progress of the food. The flame failure safety feature detects automatically whenever the flame is blown out on the hob and immediately stops the main gas supply. Double-glazed ventilation glass doors have also been added for additional safety.

For convenience it is important to note these are self-cleaning ovens. During the catalytic self-cleaning cycle the oven is heated to around 480⁰C. At this temperature any deposits are quickly reduced to a thin layer of ash, which can be simply wiped with a damp cloth to leave a completely clean oven

All these features come together in a range of cookers designed and engineered to Bosch's highest standards, created to make cooking, baking and roasting easy and more convenient.

Reaching out to UAE schools through a roadshow, the campaign is also open to people from all corners of the community via its 'I am a Green Star' facebook page and competition. Participants have the opportunity to demonstrate how they're being 'green stars' in their everyday lives on the dedicated app where anyone can upload a photograph demonstrating how they are being sustainable or making a positive difference to the UAE environment, with winners receiving a super-efficient Bosch home appliance, designed to save water and energy usage.
