CINCINNATI , April 22, 2014 (press release) – The Kroger Co. (KR) invites customers to celebrate Earth Day by looking to the sea – and to the future of seafood – through a video series designed to inform customers about the company's work to source sustainable seafood.

"We know that our customers value our commitment to sourcing sustainable seafood," said Suzanne Lindsay-Walker, Kroger's director of sustainability. "We continue to work with fisheries and our supplier partners to ensure that Kroger's seafood is fresh, delicious and available for future generations."

Kroger's strategy for responsibly-sourced seafood – which was developed in partnership with the World Wildlife Fund, a leading conservation organization – is explored in a three-part video series that has been shared through social media during the past two weeks. Customers can view full video and learn more at: http://sustainability.kroger.com/sustainability_sustainable_seafood/index.shtml.
