Prince George, B.C., truckers reach labor deal with Lakeland Mills

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. , October 25, 2005 () – The Prince George Truckers Association and its union partner, the United Steelworkers, have reached a deal with Lakeland Mills' logging contractors on improved rates and increased job security.

The deal is similar to one worked out earlier with the Winton Global lumber company, United Steelworkers local 1-424 president Frank Everitt said Wednesday.
