NEW YORK , December 21, 2012 () – Saudi Polymers' Al Jubail complex will continue to be offline for the rest of Dec 2012 and is anticipated to restart in Jan 2013. The complex has the capacity to manufacture 1.16 M tonnes/y of ethylene, 1.1 M tonnes/y of polyethylene, 430,000 tonnes/y of propylene, 400,000 tonnes of polypropylene, 200,000 tonnes/y of polystyrene and 100,000 tonnes/y of 1-hexene.
