Mitsui Chemical swings to net loss of 200M yen in fiscal Q3 as revenues increase 79.5% year-over-year to 1.1T yen; petrochemicals unit saw operating income decline 1.6% to 8.2B yen

LOS ANGELES , February 3, 2012 () – Mitsui Chemicals reported their fiscal third quarter financial results Feb. 2, showing the company swung to net loss of 200 million yen from the prior year period's profit of 21 billion yen. Total revenues for the quarter increased 79.5% year-over-year to 1.1 trillion yen.
