Asda says it has reduced prices on 3,000 products to help its customers as the holidays approach, Asda reported on its website Oct. 17.
The company says its move was prompted by research by its own Income Tracker showing that the average family's disposable income has dropped by a record £14 a week.
The company has promised to be 10% cheaper than its rivals or it will refund the difference.
