Two Western U.S. curtailments announced, Weyerhaeuser downs Santiam sawmill in Lebanon, Oregon, this week; F.H. Stoltze Land & Lumber plans four weeks of downtime at Columbia Falls, Montana, sawmill

– Weyerhaeuser and F.H. Stoltze Land & Lumber Co. are the latest companies in the Western U.S. to announce downtime, according to Random Lengths' Curtailment Watch.
Weyerhaeuser announced last week that its Santiam sawmill in Lebanon, Oregon, would be down this week, while F.H. Stoltze Land & Lumber Co. is planning a four-week curtailment at its Columbia Falls, Montana, sawmill from Aug. 29.
F.H. Stoltze said swing shift at the mill would not run during the curtailment, but all other company operations will continue to operate. The company it was implementing the curtailment because of insufficient log deliveries.
