The American Cleaning Institute (ACI) and Good Housekeeping are coming together again for the 2022 Discover Cleaning Summit: The Clean, Healthy & Happy Home. Registration is now open for the free, virtual event, which will be held on October 26 at 1 PM EDT.

The event is designed to address the cleaning concerns of today’s time-pressed consumers and highlight the latest advancements in the world of clean. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we all look at cleaning in a new light and our homes have — more than ever — become places of work, play, rejuvenation and sanctuary.

This year’s summit will take a whole-home approach and examine consumer issues, industry innovations and home design and other trends related to kitchen and bathroom cleaning, laundry challenges and maintaining good indoor air quality. Key discussion topics include:

  • Examining cleaning the kitchen and bathroom for health and safety
  • Exploring how new appliances, detergents and textiles are changing the way we do laundry
  • Uncovering how to maintain good indoor air quality by managing dust and other indoor air pollutants

“The Discover Cleaning Summit brings together expert voices to help consumers maximize their knowledge and know-how on keeping their homes clean and healthy,” said Melissa Hockstad, ACI President and CEO. “ACI is proud to work with Good Housekeeping once again to showcase the latest information on how cleaning is essential to everyday life.”

“Good Housekeeping is thrilled to be partnering again this year with the American Cleaning Institute to more deeply explore the key challenges consumer face keeping their homes clean today and what solutions and cleaning innovations we can look forward to in the future,” said Carolyn Forté, Executive Director of the Home Care & Cleaning Lab at the Good Housekeeping Institute.

Manufacturers, journalists, retailers, consumers and anyone with an interest in cleaning is invited to attend for meaningful and educational dialogues between health, cleaning and appliance experts, the media, design, building and organizing professionals, community leaders and more.
