AHA releases 2024 Environmental Scan; the Scan provides insights on current health care trends including financial stability, AI usage, consumerism, and care delivery transformation models like telehealth

The AHA Dec, 4 released its 2024 Environmental Scan, which provides key data and insights on the current health care landscape and helps hospitals and health systems explore important issues with staff, leaders, boards and community stakeholders.   
  
“The Environmental Scan highlights emerging trends and innovative approaches that hospitals and health systems are taking to improve clinical care, operational efficiency and consumer engagement,” said AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack. “It helps our field to strategically chart the best pathways forward and plan for the future.”
