The Senate unanimously approved the Ocean Shipping Reform Act on Thursday to help address long-standing issues in the maritime industry. The following statement regarding the Senate vote can be attributed to the American Chemistry Council: “Ocean carriers have left U.S. manufacturers stranded at the dock.
