U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has enforced the first anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review of aluminum foil imports from China, reports AlCircle. The ruling reaffirms existing measures, concluding their removal would harm local industry.

U.S. Department of Commerce first revealed an anti-dumping investigation on China's aluminum foil imports in 2017; duties were applied on February 27, 2018. The first sunset review investigation of these duties was launched on March 1, 2023, with final rulings made in June.
