Sistema-owned pulp, paper company Segezha Group says it is not affected by current UK sanctions imposed on Sistema founder, major shareholder Vladimir Evtushenkov, whose indirect control in Segezha is under 31%; company continues business as usual

In connection with the most recent UK sanctions implemented as of April 13, 2022, Segezha Group PJSC (MOEX: SGZH, a subsidiary of Sistema PJSFC) confirms that it does not consider itself affected by the current UK sanctions imposed on Mr. Vladimir Evtushenkov (founder and major shareholder of Sistema PJSFC):

-    Sistema PJSFC owns 62.2% of ordinary and voting shares in the share capital of Segezha Group.
-    Mr. Vladimir Evtushenkov owns 49.2% of ordinary and voting shares in the share capital of Sistema PJSFC.
-    the share of indirect control of Mr. Vladimir Evtushenkov in Segezha Group is ~30.6%.
-    ~25% of the shares of Segezha Group are freely floated on the Moscow Stock Exchange, the company's shareholders are including international institutional investors.
-    Mr. Vladimir Evtushenkov does not hold any managerial positions within management bodies of Segezha Group.

Segezha Group continues its business as usual. None of its legal entities and/or individuals are subject to any current sanctions of the US, EU, Norway, Switzerland, Japan, Australia or Singapore.
