LOS ANGELES , October 3, 2023 (press release) –

Indianapolis-based Plastic Recycling is now processing post-consumer curbside polypropylene with a new modular line that can be scaled up to sort and wash up to 25 million pounds of PP per year.

PRI currently produces at a capacity of 160 million pounds of recycled plastic across its facilities, including the new PP line at its Indianapolis compound and 120,000-square-foot scrap processing plant.

The company has invested millions of dollars over the past few years, including two new extruders, and is deepening its capabilities by seeking FDA food-contact letter of no objection for post-consumer curbside PP.
