News Release Date: Contact: Deanna Boensch, 662-680-1632 Tupelo, Miss.— The National Park Service (NPS) seeks public comment on a wetlands statement of finding (WSOF) for a revetment project for bank stabilization of Lindsey Creek at a pipeline crossing Natchez Trace Parkway near Clinton, Mississippi. The WSOF outlines the process of mitigating adverse effects to wetlands associated with construction of the revetment, which will be installed to protect the three pipelines that cross Lindsey Creek. Comments can be submitted online at https://parkplanning.nps.gov/LindseyCreek or mailed to: Natchez Trace Parkway 2680 Natchez Trace Parkway Tupelo, MS 38804 Attention: Superintendent accepted from April 5, through April 18, 2024, and mailed comments will need to be postmarked by April 18th.
