Beloved chicken brand launches new concept in Hoover, Alabama Saucy chicken chain Zaxby's®, the premium quick-service restaurant, beloved for its Chicken Fingerz™, wings and legendary Zax Sauce®, opened its first franchise-owned, to-go-only restaurant in Hoover, Alabama, at 2071 Patton Chapel Rd. The new Zaxby's is owned and operated by Chicken Scratch Holdings, Inc. and opened for drive-thru, to-go and pick-up on Monday, June 5. “We are very excited to bring this new to-go concept to Hoover and serve our delicious chicken fingers and wings to the community,” said Russell Pate, owner of Chicken Scratch Holdings, Inc. “We have hired 50 new team members at this location and look forward to providing opportunities for growth within our organization.” The 2,000 square-foot restaurant is Zaxby’s newest prototype design for a to-go-only restaurant. The building’s footprint is roughly two-thirds the size of a traditional Zaxby’s location. It includes a walk-up window for guests to place to-go orders and an outdoor patio with four tables, but no dine-in seating. Birmingham-based Vincent Construction, Inc. was responsible for the construction of the new restaurant. Guests will experience expedited drive-thru service with a double drive-thru layout with Zaxby’s new digital menu boards, a payment window, as well as a drive-thru delivery door for faster pay and pickup. For even faster service, customers may also order ahead online via zaxbys.com as well as through the new Zaxby’s app available for download on Google Play and the App Store. Ordering delivery is available directly through the Zaxby’s app, as well as through DoorDash, UberEats, and GrubHub. An alternative to fast food, Zaxby's serves fresh, prepared-at-order Chicken Fingerz and wings tossed in a variety of bold and spicy sauces. The menu features the brand’s famous Signature Sandwich, its iconic Fried Pickles and the popular Loaded Fries. Recently, Zaxby’s brought back its Southwest Zalad®. The fan-favorite salad returns to Zaxby’s menu for the first time since the summer of 2021. To celebrate, Zaxby’s is offering a 50% discount for any Zalad® redeemable one time per customer from June 21-25 on the Zaxby’s app or via zaxbys.com. Chicken Scratch Holdings, Inc., opened its first Zaxby’s location in 2004 and has since expanded to four locations within Hoover city limits and 10 within the state of Alabama.
