The latest in what's going on in the world of snack products:

The greatest wedding entrance in potato chip history

Weddings in India are known for their grand entrances, and a recent such entrance has taken Instagram by storm after a groom arrived in a car decorated wth bags of chips.

The footage shared online shows the crowd cheering as we see various types of potato chip packets revealed one by one.

No doubt that for this wedding, the groom stole the spotlight from the bride.

Social fo paux? Hormel Chili aims to make double-dipping acceptable

When it comes to chips and dip, double dipping has always been a social fo paux. But Hormel Chili is trying to make the double dip acceptable with the launch of the new Double Dippable Chips.

The product--a collaborative creation between Hormel Chili and a Minnesota-based specialty foods producer--are engineered with a unique perforation down the center, enabling easy breaking into two even halves and making it ideal for indulgent dipping experiences.

Double-dipping: Acceptable at last!

Solar Eclipse Means Solar Eclipse Snacks

The snacking industry isn't one to miss out on a marketing opportunity, no matter what that opportunity might be. If you're not sure you believe that last statement, do yourself a favor: Drive to your local supermarket and look for new snack foods celebrating the upcoming Solar Eclipse!

That's right: New limited-time snacks are coming out to celebrate the sun being temporarily covered up. PepsiCo, for example, recently introduced a new flavor of Sun Chips called the Solar Eclipse Limited-Edition Pineapple Habanero and Black Bean Spicy Gouda, which is being promoted in partnership with astronaut and researcher Kellie Gerardi.

Don't blame the snacking industry for jumping all over this, because once the total solar eclipse on April 8 is over, it will be the last of its kind visible from the contiguous U.S. until Aug. 23, 2044.
