Nestlé is pleased to welcome the following new members of its Creating Shared Value (CSV) Council: The CSV Council is an external advisory group that was formed in 2009. The Council engages twice a year with the Executive Board to critically review Nestlé's sustainability initiatives. Its mandate is to provide a diversity of informed ideas, recommendations, and insights on creating shared value and the Company's ambition to advance regenerative food systems at scale. Chaired by Janet Voûte, the Council is comprised of ten external members, who have expertise in the following areas: agriculture, climate, circular economy, nature, nutrition, water, strategy, and sustainability. The new Council members' expertise and passion for sustainability will greatly enhance Nestlé's strategic efforts towards a more sustainable future. One that continues to create long-term value for our shareholders while making a positive impact on society and the environment. Nestlé is committed to offering food and beverages that are good for you and good for the planet. That includes a commitment to halve our carbon footprint by 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. We are taking a holistic approach to managing our impact on the environment by joining the dots between climate change and related issues including water stewardship, biodiversity, nutrition, and human rights.
