Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan joins the '30 by 30 Alliance for Biodiversity,' a voluntary coalition of private companies, local governments and other groups that aims to conserve and protect at least 30% of land and oceans across the world by 2030

Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. has joined the "30 by 30 Alliance for Biodiversity” established by 17 industry, private, and public organizations, including the Ministry of the Environment .

Launched by a voluntary coalition of private companies, local governments, and other groups, the 30 by 30 Alliance for Biodiversity promotes the all- Japan efforts to achieve the international "30 by 30 target” to conserve and protect at least 30% of land and oceans across the world by 2030. We have been engaged in various forest maintenance activities to preserve the water sources in all of our 17 plant areas, achieving over 353% water replenishment rate to return water to nature (actual rate in 2021). We conclude agreements with local forestry cooperatives and work on activities to bring out the multifunctional aspect of forests to the fullest. Through such efforts in forest and our participation in the Alliance, we will also contribute to the conservation of biodiversity.

As a company who uses irreplaceable water for its business operations, we will continue to make efforts in solving social issues through our business activities and aim to realize a sustainable society.
