Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings Selected as Constituent of Morningstar Japan ex-REIT Gender Diversity Tilt IndexSM

Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings Inc. (headquarters in Minato-ku, Tokyo ; Representative Director & President Calin Dragan ; hereafter “CCBJH”) is pleased to announce that it has been selected as a constituent of the Morningstar® Japan ex-REIT Gender Diversity Tilt IndexSM.

This Index utilizes data and evaluation methods provided by Equileap[*] and focuses on companies with established gender diversity policies embedded in their corporate culture and companies that are committed to equal opportunities for employees regardless of gender. The constituent stocks are divided into five groups according to a score-based rating. CCBJH has been rated in Group 1, the highest scoring group.

The Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) has adopted this index as an ESG investment index for domestic stocks. CCBJH has also been selected as a constituent of the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index and the S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index, both of which are adopted by GPIF.
