This year Cherkizovo Group has expanded its product range by fitting several types of meat products into one package. This was made in an attempt to meet the demands of consumers who seek to diversify the diet of their family without breaking the budget. The greatest number of combined products is currently available in the Cherkizovo brand’s portfolio. The offering of ready-to-cook meat products includes the Mix of Bremen and Munich Sausages and the Mix of Bavarian and Chorizo Sausages, both sold in conveniently partitioned trays with separate compartments for each type of sausages. This year we also launched the sales of Marinated Ribs and Steak, a combination of pork kebabs and barbecue mix. The Cherkizovo Premium brand now offers two types of sliced mixes (Prosciutto and Salchichon, and Cerveletti and Prosciutto) in the dry sausage category. Petelinka, the leading player in Russia's branded chicken market, has only one combined product so far – Mix of Thigh and Breast Fillets. Thigh fillets are an ideal choice for those who prefer juicy meat, while breast fillets will come in handy for customers looking for delicate lean meat. The two types of fillets can be cooked separately or combined into one dish. The product is sold in vacuum-sealed sectioned packages, with dedicated compartments preventing the fillets from coming into contact with each other and adding to the meat freshness. Likewise, fans of the Pava-Pava turkey brand no longer need to argue over which part of the bird to buy. Starting this year, they can purchase sliced breast and thigh fillets packed into one tray. “The combination of several meat products bundled into one package is a relatively new offering for the Russian market, as our Company seeks to lead the way in industry-specific innovations. Research shows that the new bundles are very popular and classified by consumers as their first-choice products. Indeed, it is very convenient to buy one pack instead of two and to please all members of your family without having to spend an extra penny,” commented Anastasia Mikhailova, Head of Communications at Cherkizovo Group.
