ELC China hosts immersive experience to showcase fragrance portfolio

Last month, ELC China hosted an immersive Fragrance Day Media Gathering in Shanghai to educate reporters on the company’s global fragrance portfolio and local focus on the diverse and growing Chinese fragrance consumer. The event featured opening remarks from Stéphane de La Faverie, Executive Group President; presentations from Estée Lauder, Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle, and Jo Malone London; and beautiful displays from ELC’s fragrance portfolio.

In his opening remarks, Stéphane shared how ELC’s robust portfolio caters to the diverse and growing Chinese fragrance consumer, while underscoring ELC’s rich history and authority in the category. He shared how the fragrance market in China is dynamic and exciting, with a long runway for acceleration due to Chinese consumers becoming increasingly sophisticated and knowledgeable about fragrances, expanding their usage occasions, creating news rituals, and looking for scents that are unique.

This gathering was an opportunity for attendees to experience ELC fragrance brands throughout the event. Estée Lauder previewed their Legacy Collection, a collaboration with Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle to reimagine 5 iconic Estée Lauder scents. Following this presentation, Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle spotlighted their new collection with ACNE Studios, and Jo Malone London shared exclusive news about an upcoming collaboration. Other ELC fragrance brands created beautiful, interactive displays, including AERIN Beauty, KILIAN PARIS, Le Labo, and TOM FORD BEAUTY.
