The definitive event for the food-to-go industry, lunch! will take place on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th September 2023 at ExCeL London. Launching at lunch! 2023, Coveris’ BarrierFresh MAP skillets are the latest addition to the manufacturers leading food-on-the-move range. Coveris’ longest shelf-life sandwich skillet, BarrierFresh MAP skillets keep sandwiches fresher for longer by controlling pack atmosphere, supporting food waste reduction targets. With excellent product visibility, Coveris’ BarrierFresh MAP skillets deliver great branding opportunities and shelf-presentation whilst robustly protecting products. As a leader in sustainable packaging and in light of the UK’s upcoming single-use plastics ban in October 2023, Coveris will also be presenting its eco-efficient food service solutions including EnviroPac™ Bagasse, a renewable and sustainably sourced alternative to EPS packaging. With aligning commitments to reduce waste, Notpla coated food cartons tackle sustainability concerns in the food-to-go and takeaway sector. Made from seaweed and plant extracts, Notpla’s award-winning barrier coating is applied to sustainably sourced board to create a food-safe barrier function and naturally disappears in 4-6 weeks at end of life.
