March 31, 2022 (press release) –

Nasdaq First North-listed Nexam Chemical, is building a brand new innovation center to remain at the forefront of additives to enable environmentally friendly plastics with the best functionality. The innovation center in Lomma, Skåne, is expected to be completed in the autumn of 2022 and will serve plastic manufacturers all over the world.

By being one of the world's best manufacturers of additives that improve the properties of plastics, Nexam Chemical has been able to show very good growth for several years. The focus is on both sustainability and function. The new facility will ensure that Nexam Chemical can continue to develop additives that remain at the forefront and improve customer sustainability.

"With our own innovation center, we become more efficient and faster in developing tailor-made solutions for customers. The goal is to be able to streamline and shorten the time for customer projects and thereby lower the thresholds and shorten the sales time, "says Johan Arvidsson, CEO of Nexam Chemicals, and continues:

"If we continue to be at the forefront of our offering, we will also be able to accelerate our growth journey together with our customers. Here, our innovation center will be crucial. "

The first step is to build a new office and laboratory part. At a later stage, a pilot plant will also be built, where customer processes can be better imitated. The facility is expected to be fully completed in the spring of 2023.
