Avient to showcase sustainable polymer colorants, additives and support services at Plástico Brasil 2023 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, March 27-31

SAO PAULO, Brazil – March 16, 2023 – Today, Avient Corporation announced it will feature its portfolio of sustainable polymer colorants and additives at Plástico Brasil, the industry’s largest plastic production exhibition in Latin America, taking place this week. 

Avient’s Color and Additives team will exhibit solutions such as ColorMatrix™ SmartHeat™ dispersion process aids for improving polyethylene terephthalate (PET) recycling, Rejoin™ colorants formulated to enable 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) packaging, and Hydrocerol™ chemical foaming agents for reducing part weights.  

In addition to these sustainable colorants and additives, attendees can also explore Avient’s PCR Color Prediction Tool, a service that digitally illustrates the color possibilities or limitations of certain types of PCR before sample development. This can help brand owners and technical colorists simplify the process of transitioning to higher levels of PCR content, shorten the time-to-launch of new product ranges, and create global color consistency.
