The Remscheid-based heating technology specialist Vaillant Group received the German Sustainability Award in Düsseldorf on 23 November 2023. The Vaillant Group came out on top against eleven competitors in the company-category as a "pioneer of transformation" in the heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning technology sector. For more than 10 years, the Vaillant Group has been pursuing a comprehensive and long-term sustainability strategy in which binding ecological and social targets have been defined. In its product development, the company focuses primarily on heat pumps that use renewable energy to heat buildings.

"We are delighted to receive this new award. For many years, the Vaillant Group's strategic focus has been on environmentally friendly heat pump technology. In recent years, we have extensively expanded both our product portfolio and our production capacities for heat pumps in all European markets. As one of the market leaders, we are thus helping to successfully shape the heating transition in Europe and achieve the European climate targets in the building sector," says Vaillant Group CEO Dr-Ing. Norbert Schiedeck.
