Kebony North America to use Holden Humphrey to distribute its full line of dually modified wood cladding and decking products throughout New England, New York, northern New Jersey

Chicopee, Massachusetts , January 27, 2023 (press release) –

The Massachusetts-Based Company will Distribute Kebony’s Full Range of Dually Modified Wood Products in New England, New York, and Northern New Jersey

Kebony North America today announced it has signed on with Holden Humphrey Co. (HHC) to distribute the Norwegian manufacturer’s full line of dually modified wood cladding and decking products throughout New England, New York, and northern New Jersey, according to Kebony North American Director Andy Hehl.

"HHC has the reach and reputation we need in the Northeast," Hehl said. "And their understanding of the growing modified wood class and the offering our systems bring, make for a very solid partnership. They are an ‘A’ player in LBM distribution, and that is the type of partner we seek."

HHC was founded in 1987 by Lance Humphrey and Peter Alexander. For the past three decades, the company has concentrated on top quality siding, roofing, decking, and trim products for the great Northeast.  HHC also employs a full complement of staff, including salespeople, yard workers, and other professionals.

“The Kebony product and company aptly reflect Holden Humphrey’s values and mission,” Humphrey said. “After looking at the other modified wood options available, we knew this was the best product for our customers and future.”

About Kebony
Kebony is a high quality, sustainable wood that doesn’t require any maintenance besides basic cleaning. Kebony has proven qualities for a wide range of areas and is often the preferred material for patios and exterior cladding. The Kebony Technology® is a patented and environmentally friendly wood treatment process originally developed in Norway. This process uses a bio-based fluid to improve the qualities and characteristics of the wood. The cell structure is permanently altered, providing the wood with the abilities and deep tan resembling tropical hardwood.

The company's global headquarters is based in Oslo, Norway, with production facilities in Skien (south of Oslo); and Antwerp, Belgium. The Kebony North America team is located in St. Clair, Michigan, with local representation both on the East and West Coasts. Kebony has received numerous awards for its environmentally friendly technology and innovation, including its designation as a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer and a Global Cleantech 100 company. Kebony has been embraced by leading architects, designers, and developers, which are served through a global sales and distribution network.
