Expanding value-added forest products with square fluted paneling J.D. Irving, Limited's (JDI) Sawmills division has expanded their wall covering options with the introduction of square fluted paneling. In 2022, Home Depots Canada began stocking round fluted paneling boards made at JDI's Doaktown sawmill. After taking market trends and popularity into consideration, the mill has added square fluted paneling as a new permanent product offering. These shiplap pieces of paneling provide depth and dimension to accent walls and are popular in living/TV rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and more. Made from 100% Eastern White Pine, these boards are not chemically treated and have a natural warm finish and add a simple elegance to any room. They are also carbon-storing and grown in a sustainably managed forest.
