Marvin has been recognized as one of America’s Best Large Employers, according to a Forbes magazine ranking of the nation’s top places to work. Marvin has earned the No. 19 spot on the exclusive list of U.S. employers with more than 5,000 employees.

America’s Best Employers are identified in an independent survey from a vast sample of more than 170,000 employees representing thousands of U.S. employers across public and private companies, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and colleges and universities. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.

"We are honored by this recognition, which reflects a powerful truth at Marvin: it’s essential that people and culture come first," said Paul Marvin, CEO of Marvin. "Our most important investments are those we make in service of the well-being of Marvin employees, from our long-standing profit-sharing program to our leading benefits package, which in turn allows us to best deliver for our customers and partners. We’re grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the significance of that commitment.”

Marvin’s purpose — to imagine and create better ways of living — starts with its own employees. The company has a 66-year-old profit sharing program through which more than $395 million has been shared with employees. In 2024, Marvin employees received increased paid time-off flexibility, including Better Living Day, an additional day of paid time off for anything that supports employee well-being on the day of their choice.

Marvin has expanded leave benefits for new parents and invested to ensure employees will not incur health insurance premium increases in 2024 despite rising costs. Employees are also supported by on-site mental health services and the company’s Brighter Days Fund, which provides financial assistance in times of hardship.

“At Marvin, we do right by people because it’s the right thing to do – it always has been and it always will be,” said Paul Marvin. “While our focus is not to earn recognition, we are grateful to know that living our values is noteworthy and meaningful to the many people who ranked Marvin as a great employer.”

America’s Best Employers survey ranks employers based on two types of evaluations:

  • Personal — Given by employees themselves, also known as direct evaluations.
  • Public — Given by friends and family members of employees, or members of the public who work in the same industry, also known as indirect evaluations, with a much higher weighting for personal evaluations.
