At the same time, the company placed an order for another ANDRITZ pressurized refining system for its MDF line in Andhra Pradesh, India. This will be the third system supplied by ANDRITZ to CenturyPly. Himanshu Shah, President MDF Business at CenturyPly, says: “We have been working with ANDRITZ Panelboard since 2016 and have always been impressed by the superior fiber quality we receive from ANDRITZ’s well-proven technology. Our two existing lines are operating smoothly, and we appreciate the high energy efficiency throughout the entire process. We trust in ANDRITZ as a reliable partner and look forward to our third collaboration.” The new state-of-the-art fiber preparation system will have a design capacity of 37 tons per hour and process eucalyptus and poplar wood chips for producing high-quality MDF. Its start-up is scheduled for the second half of 2023.
