Paperfoam, founded in 1998, is a leading global provider of biodegradable packaging solutions made of starch with production facilities in the Netherlands, Czech Republic, United States and Malaysia. As global need for, products that are plastic-free, fully recyclable and have a low environmental impact are high, Paperfoam is ideally positioned to meet this urgent demand. Nissha is a publicly traded multinational corporation specialized in manufacturing advanced materials and electronic components for various industries. With the additional capital and strategic business alliance with Nissha, Paperfoam will accelerate its sales all over Asia, Europe, and the US. In addition, both companies will benefit from combined R&D efforts to further increase the value of their products and strengthen each other’s proposition in the sustainable packaging domain.
