INEOS Styrolution, the global leader in styrenics, has today announced that its presence at the K will signal the start of a new sustainable era for styrenics. The company will present an extensive range of sustainable polystyrene, ABS and specialty styrenics solutions only three years after it introduced the first commercially available recycling solution at the K in 2019. As part of the INEOS Group, INEOS Styrolution is committed to net carbon zero by 2050. In order to stay on track, the company has put a stake in the ground and aims at the milestone to achieve a carbon footprint reduction of 45% by 2030. In addition, the company pledges to bring half a million tonnes of sustainable ECO products to market in 2030. INEOS Styrolution’s sustainable ECO solutions currently embrace two types of materials: Today’s ECO portfolio from INEOS Styrolution includes In parallel, the company invests into advanced recycling solutions such as depolymerisation to serve as a process for the production of sustainable feedstock[7] and to address a broad range of waste streams on commercial scale.
