Solvay announces today that it has reached an Enforcement Action Settlement Agreement with China-based HySci (Tianjin) Specialty Materials Co., Ltd. on Nov 20, 2021 for a 2015 effective patent infringement judgment made byTianjin 2nd Intermediate People’s Court and further confirmed by the Supreme People's Court in favor of Solvay. The 2015 judgment found Hysci infringing Solvay’s  Chinese patents CN1177764C and CN1039804C, and ordered Hysci to cease producing/selling the infringing products and to make a payment of material damages to Solvay.

The terms and conditions of this Settlement Agreement are based on both the 2015 effective patent infringement judgment and the corresponding enforcement court decisions.
