Uralkali (the Company) competed in the Best Movie about Profession nomination with Ferti-Fellows, a series of short educational videos, in which animated characters — Po, T and Ash — explain the potash mining and production process. The videos also showed why potash is important for people and plants and what jobs are in demand by this industry. Ferti-Fellows series is available on the website of Uralkali’s museum — https://museum.uralkali.com/videoproekt-udobryatory/ In total, the festival’s panel of judges assessed 137 projects in 12 nominations. The award ceremony was held during the 19th Mining Forum and Exhibition MINEX Russia 2023. Reference MineMovie is an international festival of short documentary mining-related movies held since 2019. It is organised by the MINEX forum and the First Geological Channel. Since 2021, the Grand Prix has been awarded to the ultimate winner of the contest. Uralkali (www.uralkali.com) is one of the world’s largest potash producers and exporters. The Company’s assets consist of 5 mines and 7 ore treatment plants in the towns of Berezniki and Solikamsk (Perm Region, Russia). Uralkali employs more than 13,300 people in the main production unit.
