Every year, the Global Seafood Alliance’s annual conference, the Responsible Seafood Summit (formerly GOAL), is hosted in a different country. This year, the location is New Brunswick, Canada, selected for its diverse seafood community and the example the region sets for responsible aquaculture and fisheries. Join us at the Saint John Delta Hotel located in the heart of downtown Saint John from Oct. 2 to 5! Market Square sits at the heart of Saint John’s waterfront. Enjoy dining, art galleries, shopping, and relaxing, along the boardwalk area and the nearby Harbour Passage walking trail. Visit the famous Reversing Falls, a series of rapids on the Saint John River, where the river runs through a narrow gorge before emptying into the Bay of Fundy, known for having the world’s highest tides. SEAFOOD INDUSTRY TOURS Take your learning and networking on the road with one or more of the eight tour options. Check “field trips” when registering to qualify (there is an additional U.S. $200 fee). Space is limited. A short drive from the city, take a walk out to Cape Spencer Lighthouse, perched on the Bay of Fundy. Check out the most beautifully restored theatre in Canada, which hosts special events, big-name acts and touring companies. The Summit’s Gala event will be hosted here!
