On November 21, "Fortune" released the "List of Most Admired Chinese Companies in 2023", and COFCO Group continued to be on the list. "Fortune" pointed out that in recent years, COFCO's global agricultural and grain operations have reached 180 million tons. In the international market, COFCO has strong resource allocation capabilities for many important agricultural products such as soybeans, corn, and wheat. In 2022, COFCO will become Brazil's fifth largest corn exporter, sixth largest soybean exporter, seventh largest raw sugar processor, and largest soybean exporter to China. In 2023, in order to cope with domestic demand for agricultural products, COFCO opened a channel for exporting corn from Brazil and South Africa to China. The "List of Most Admired Chinese Companies in 2023" is selected through a questionnaire survey and a weighted calculation of editorial scores. It evaluates from the perspectives of management capabilities, talent attraction, product/service capabilities, social responsibility, investment value, assets and globalization. Candidate companies were scored and the most respected companies in the minds of nearly 40,000 Chinese business managers were presented. "Fortune" stated that the list is a consideration of the soft power of enterprises. A group of Chinese companies have achieved commercial success while winning praise from the industry, especially their peers.
