Giant Food is set to close down two of its e-commerce centers in Hanover, Maryland, and Milford, Delaware, though its fulfilment center in Manassas, Virginia, will remain in operation. The grocer will instead make increased use of in-store personnel for picking and delivering online orders. This move comes as part of Giant Food's efforts to enhance delivery speed, offer more time slot options and expand product range.
