Russia-based Morbook adds Duplo DBM-150 bookletmaker; company prints magazines, brochures, textbooks, medical records, logbooks for Russian maritime industry

Morbook is an e-shop and publishing house based in Russia. They have been operating for 13 years specialising in booklet-making for the Russian maritime industry – magazines, brochures, textbooks, medical records, and logbooks, are all printed on a Canon press from their Moscow base.

After spending some time using non-Duplo machines, Morbook decided to do some market research before purchasing their next bookletmaker, “we investigated the market and studied the reviews and chose Duplo based on the principle: Price, quality and quick and cost-effective service support in Moscow”. After assessing the market and looking at their requirements, Morbook decided that the DBM-150 from Duplo’s Russian distributor NISSA, was the right bookletmaker for their business – “it is a compact and highly productive machine. The whole line DC10/20 and DBM 150/150T turned out to be very compact and productive."

Now they have had the bookletmaker for some time, they have been able to let their opinion form a bit further… “(the machine) is stable, the performance of the line and quality of the items, very compact and easy to use”. When asked about the learning curve for the operator, the answer was definitive - “No learning required, our operator got everything at once.”

Morbook has plans to purchase a second collator tower to handle demand in the future should it arise. With the DBM series’ modularity, should the need arise the DBM-150 system they have, could be swapped out with the DC 10/20 collators also working with the DBM-350.

It’s not just Morbook that are pleased with their DBM-150, they are happy to say that their customers “appreciate the quality of the items we are producing.”
