ROCHESTER, New York , February 3, 2022 (press release) –

Durst announced that Modernistic Inc., a leading provider of visual communication and contract manufacturing based in Stillwater, MN, has installed the P5 350 all-in-one hybrid, high-production, 1200dpi-resolution inkjet printer.

Modernistic, founded in 1938 by Clifford L. Schulte, has evolved into its 3rd generation of Schulte family ownership. Still proven and devoted to always driving value for their clients by providing expertise, superior products, and dependable services with speed and precision.

The Durst P5 350 is the most efficient hybrid printer on the market, designed to elevate efficiency and production capacity. Offering various configurations, the P5 350 provides up to 3500 sq ft/hr. The P5 350 UV LED inkjet press prints both rigid substrates and roll materials up to 137-inches wide. The printer is equipped with Durst Print Workflow software and exclusive Durst Analytics, thereby offering enhanced production efficiency from day one.

The first in Minnesota to implement the P5 350, installing this printer exemplifies Modernistic’s commitment to being a technology leader in large format printing. Scott Schulte CEO of Modernistic said, “With this technology we are able to ultimately generate more value for our customers with more speed and precision than before. We are committed to exceeding our customer’s needs and build trusted relationships.” Scott continues, “we will continue to invest in state-of-the-art efficiency building equipment and technology like what the P5 350 platform brings to the printing marketplace.”

With their 160,000 sq. ft facility, they are able to have direct to store print & manufacturing, eliminating the need for multiple vendors. This allows them to handle any project, no matter the size or complexity and their central location provides savings in both time and shipping cost. Driven to deliver superior products with on-time delivery and accurate custom kitting programs, the Durst P5 350 continues this culture by providing an innovative technologically advanced solution, with high production speeds, enhanced image quality and efficiencies to embrace sustainability.

“We are excited with our partnership with Modernistic,” states Larry D’Amico, Sales Director Durst North America. “Technology moves rapidly and the flexibility and productivity the Durst P5 350 offers, will enable Modernistic in helping them serve their clients with the highest quality product on the market.”

The P5 350 is especially suited for print providers who want to achieve consistent quality on a variety of materials with versatility, exactly the direction Modernistic was looking to offer their customers. “With the Durst, we found a printer that fits perfectly into our production workflow that allows us to do more for our customers and turn projects around faster with its high print quality, material agility and flexibility and its overall productivity”, said Scott Schulte.
