HANOVER PARK, Illinois , October 13, 2023 (press release) –

FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Communication Division, is pleased to announce that its FUJIFILM J PRESS 750HS (High Speed) press (J PRESS 750HS) and its FUJIFILM J PRESS FP790 press (J PRESS FP790) have earned PRINTING United Alliance 2023 Pinnacle Awards in the Digital Press and Technology categories, respectively.

‘We’re very proud to have been recognized by Pinnacle for two of our most advanced J PRESS products,” said Hidetoshi “Toshi” Kino, general manager, FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Communication Division. “Fujifilm’s commitment to continuous innovation shines brightly in our J PRESS line. We’re excited for our customers to continue to realize these benefits; not just from our J PRESS products, but through our full line of end-to-end solutions.”

Open to all PRINTING United Alliance supplier members, the Pinnacle Product Award competition evaluates products that are available for sale in 2023. A highly qualified panel of judges across the printing industry evaluated the annual contest’s entries in categories spanning analog, digital, output, and non-output technologies.

Output devices are judged based on reports generated by measuring color charts and then comparing them to industry specifications. “As part of Pinnacle’s evaluation process, we provided prints that were output utilizing Fujifilm’s patented COLORPATH Sync Cloud Color Management Solutions,” said Don Schroeder, director of professional services and solutions development, FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Communication Division. “The COLORPATH Sync system's unique optimization technology, along with Fujifilm’s new Brand Color Optimization technology optimizes the output by iterating color profiles over a number of press runs, enabling optimal performance and output from the press.”

More about Fujifilm’s winning products
With high image quality that outperforms traditional offset printing, the J PRESS 750S press utilizes advanced, ultra-high-density and high-precision SAMBA printheads and aqueous pigment VIVIDIA ink to produce high-speed output of 5,400 sheets per hour. The J PRESS 750HS features the highest productivity available for a sheetfed inkjet press – 1.5 times faster than the prior, J PRESS 750S model.  Flexible mode options, designed to increase efficiency, include high-quality mode (3,600 sph) and high-performance mode (5,400 sph).

When it comes to packaging, a wide variety of products and shorter delivery times are rapidly changing market dynamics. Achieving both high quality print output and adhering to the regulatory requirements of the food packaging business, J PRESS FP790 was created to meet these high market demands and to facilitate a strategic and profitable packaging business.

Earlier in 2023, Fujifilm introduced the REVORIA brand of printing press in the U.S. market, including the REVORIA PRESS PC1120, an inline, 6-color, high-end digital toner press (“PC1120”). PC1120 can utilize up to two specialty colors inline, and with the addition of specialty colors, it can easily achieve specific spot colors, including difficult ones to reproduce, like PMS 165 Orange and PMS 2945 Blue. In addition to specialty applications, PC1120 is perfectly suited to commercial printing and specialty applications, and it produces outstanding results with synthetics and heavy weight substrates up to 400gsm.

In addition to the J PRESS product honors, Fujifilm’s PC1120 earned runner up honors in the Digital Press category. "Having one of our most impressive REVORIA toner-based products represented in these honors was especially exciting, as REVORIA is our newest press line and will have a big presence this year at the PRINTING United Alliance tradeshow in Atlanta,” said Kino.
