Seiko Epson Corporation (TSE: 6724, "the Company") announces that, at a meeting of the Board of Directors held today, a resolution was passed to submit a proposal, "Partial Amendments to the Articles of Incorporation," to the 82nd Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for June 25, 2024.

The Company aims to become carbon negative and underground resource* free in the "Environmental Vision 2050". In response to the expansion and diversification of its business activities associated with these initiatives, the Company proposes to partially amend its Articles of Incorporation to better clarify its business activities in line with the current status of the group's business.
