Epson today announced its new 44-inch SureColor® F6470 and SureColor F6470H dye-sublimation printers are now available through authorized Epson Professional Imaging resellers. The 4-color SureColor F6470 and 6-color SureColor F6470H are designed to maximize productivity by quickly and efficiently producing high-quality images ideal for promotional products, apparel, home décor, soft signage, and more. “The increased awareness of dye-sublimation and its benefits for designers has been a driving force in the demand for expanded color gamut options,” said Tim Check, senior product manager, Professional Imaging, Epson America, Inc. “We’ve focused efforts on offering a wider range of color options while maintaining the reliability and quality for which Epson is known. The 6-color SureColor F6470H offers expanded color gamut options to meet the demands of changing market trends with the ability to hit brand requirements needed by high-end clients.” The SureColor F6470 and SureColor F6470H leverage an innovative PrecisionCore® MicroTFP printhead and produce high-quality transfer images at speeds up to 820 ft2/hr1 and 400 ft2/hr,1 respectfully. The SureColor F6470H allows for multiple ink configurations – CMYK plus either Light Cyan/Light Magenta, Fluorescent Pink/Fluorescent Yellow, or Orange/Violet – making it an ideal solution to meet specific brand colors requirements for corporate clients and designers. Both models also feature an integrated ink pack system utilizing 1.6-liter UltraChrome® DS Ink packs allow the printers to continuously deliver rich color saturation and contrast. Additional features include a touchscreen control panel, a built-in cutter, an easily accessible maintenance area, and a take-up reel system, and powerful workflow software Epson Edge® Print and Epson Cloud Solution PORT2 for live production monitoring and unattended printing support.
