MORTSEL, Belgium , May 25, 2022 (press release) –

The FESPA Global Print Expo comes to Berlin with lots of new products and options for Agfa to show the world. Agfa will be highlighting additional possibilities for the current product lines, new products, and spectacular options.

To start with, Agfa’s Jeti Tauro H3300 LED printers are now available with a varnish printing option. The Agfa varnish allows not only for the embellishment of a part of the print but also a full flood option that covers the entire print. This new technology allows for a bigger color gamut and is capable of printing 75 m²/h with varnish.

“The Jeti Tauro has always been at the forefront of digital printing technology”, says Philip Van der Auwera, Worldwide Product Manager Sign & Display. “This new option finally allows for high-quality varnish prints with unlimited design possibilities. The Agfa high-gloss varnish is available as of today”.

Agfa will also showcase the award-winning Oberon RTR3300 with white ink and the capability of printing on thin foils. The Oberon RTR has proved to be a reliable workhorse for many Agfa customers expanding their businesses. With the latest additions, it has become a full solution to print white on translucent media for window decorations and more.

Textiles are increasingly becoming the default for easy-to-use graphics. The Avinci CX3200 is a next-generation textile printer that allows for printing on transfer paper and directly on fabrics up to 150 m²/h. This is a major step in high-quality textile printing. Large textile print service providers in Europe have already standardized on this leading textile printer.

Agfa’s industrial experts will also be available for answering questions about the Alussa solution for leather decoration printing, InterioJet for flooring and furniture, and the special OEM inks.

“Industrial printing is printing technology at its best and has become one of the biggest growth markets for inkjet”, says Mike Horsten, Global Business Manager InterioJet. “Finally, high-quality short and medium runs are now possible with Agfa’s industrial printing technologies. We will also be showcasing some amazing customer samples at the show”.

The FESPA Global Print Expo will be held from the 31st of May till the 3rd of June in Berlin. Agfa will be in Hall 3.2 booth C20.
