Amorepacific officially launches its customized makeup brand TONEWORK today (16th). The brand offers a total of 600 options of base makeup products optimized for individual skin tones.

The customized technology applied to TONEWORK won the Innovation Award in the Robotics category at the world-renowned consumer electronics and technology exhibition, CES 2023. With an AI-based color diagnosis algorithm, the technology precisely measures facial tones, and the robot immediately manufactures the product based on the results. TONEWORK offers a total of 600 options, allowing individuals to choose from 150 meticulously designed colors curated based on thorough research of skin tones worldwide with two product formulations (glow, semi-matte) and two product types (foundation, cushion).

TONEWORK is the first customized-cosmetics brand to be certified by the Korea Agency of Vegan Certification and Services. It also uses sustainable packaging made with paper certified by FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and recycled plastic (PCR) materials.

According to a brand representative, “TONEWORK defines each individual's unique color as an ‘Authentic Color’ and we will continue our research to bring everyone's Authentic Color to life. Our goal is to become a personalized makeup brand that helps individuals embrace their unique beauty and shine.”

Consumers can try out the newly launched ‘TONEWORK Vegan 150+ Foundation’ and the cushion-type ‘TONEWORK Vegan 150+ Foundation To-Go’ at the AMORE Store located inside Amorepacific's headquarters in Yongsan, Seoul. These products are also available for purchase on Naver Smart Store. A pop-up store to celebrate the launch of the brand is scheduled to be held from the 25th of this month and will continue until July 19th at Lotte Hotel L7 Hongdae, where visitors can directly experience customized makeup services.
