Our team of PFAS destruction experts recently attended the WEFTEC conference and were taken back by the enthusiasm surrounding PFAS destruction in industrial and municipal wastewater, as well as drinking water applications. The underlying tone from the conference was that PFAS treatment is starting to receive meaningful attention and that commercial, innovative solutions like super critical water oxidation (SCWO) will play a major role in ending the PFAS cycle. Insights from Rick Gillespie Chief Commercial Officer, Rick Gillespie, delivered an insightful presentation on innovative PFAS management solutions for landfill leachate. He emphasized the critical need to end the PFAS cycle by utilizing our PFAS Annihilator® SCWO destruction technology. During the presentation Rick shared PFAS destruction data from landfill leachate foamate that was processed by Revive’s PFAS Annihilator system which showcased PFAS destruction below the EPA drinking water standards. Rick’s expertise sparked discussions and highlighted the necessity for effective strategies in managing PFAS contamination. Engaging Conversations at the Revive Booth At the Revive Environmental booth, we welcomed engineering firms, water treatment plant operators, landfill operators, and PFAS solution providers. Our team had productive and enlightening conversations about our cutting-edge PFAS Annihilator and GAC RENEWTM Granular Activated Carbon) offerings. These interactions reinforced our commitment to collaboration and innovation in the field. Dr. Ali Ling Delivers Remarks On Media For PFAS Treatment and Regeneration Despite the 4:30pm timeslot Dr. Ali Ling presented to a packed room eager to hear about solutions for managing spent filtration media laden with PFAS. Revive, along with other leading technology startups, contributed data to facilitate a comparative assessment of technology readiness, energy consumption and total supply chain cost for managing the media + PFAS destruction. See below for a snapshot of the comparative estimates with Revive’s GAC RENEWTM represented as “Onsite GAC Regeneration.” Collaborating for Clean Water Our team also had the opportunity to collaborate with other solution providers and attend various technical sessions. This engagement is crucial to our mission of realizing a future with clean water, free from PFAS and other hazardous contaminants. By leveraging the most advanced technologies, we aim to keep communities safe and eliminate these invisible threats. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to creating a cleaner, safer environment. Together, we can make a difference!
