Cologne, August 15, 2024 - In view of the increasing Mpox infections in Central and East Africa, the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared an international health emergency. The disinfectant Rely+On Virkon from specialty chemicals company LANXESS has been proven to be effective against the Mpox virus, formerly known as the “monkeypox virus”.
